Does it Really Matter?
Does mindset really matter? You bet your ass it does! Everything that you think colors the rest of your life. Have you ever had one of those days where you wake up in a great mood, but then someone says something crappy to you. You keep thinking about what they said. You are focused on the negative and then the rest of your day becomes negative and crappy.
You inadvertently changed a great day into a crappy one because you weren't aware of what you were thinking. When you learn simple strategies to monitor your thinking and shift negative thinking to positive, you change your life!
Silver linings aren't just for clouds, they are gifts to us when we learn to manage our thoughts.
Don't Believe Everything You Think!
Just because you think it doesn't make it true. I say this to clients all the time. It is vital that you question your thinking on a regular basis, especially if it makes you feel any of the negative emotions.
Have you seen the bumper sticker that says, "Question Authority?" Let's amend that to "Question Your Thoughts!"
